I was told that frontline cats/dogs are the same product just different doses. My dog is a 0-22 lb dosage of frontline for dogs usually, would it really hurt him to use a cat dosage on him?

Can Frontline Cats Be Used on Dogs?

How to find the best prices for Frontline plus? In this article you will find out everything you need to know to make an informed and smart purchase. Here is a list of 6 essential things to consider when looking for Frontline plus online.

Click here to buy Frontline plus for your dog or cat from a trusted seller at great prices!

1. Who is the product's manufacturer?- The manufacturer for Frontline is Merial, the world-leading animal health company. Frontline is the Number 1. product for fleas and tick problems and it's a registered trademark by Merial.  Beware of counterfeits because there are many companies that appear on the internet claiming they are Frontline manufacturers!

2. Where to buy it? - Buy it only from well known vendors. Again there are many online stores that sell Frontline plus like: 1800petmeds.com, Medi-vet.com, Petco.com, EntirelyPets.com, PetFoodDirect.com, Petshed.com and Amazon.com. Avoid the unknown suppliers so you won't end up  buying counterfeited or expired products. So far I had my best experiences buying from Amazon.com.

3. Frontline Plus or Frontline Top Spot?:  They are both a flea and tick repellent made by Merial. The difference is that Frontline plus contains an ingredient called S-methoprene, which makes it effective against flea eggs and larvae as well. So Frontline Plus kills all the flea's life stages. Generally, I had better results with Frontline plus than with Frontline Top Spot, however the latter costs less.

4. What is the price range?: The prices for Frontline for dogs range for the 3 doses package from around 30 to 39 $, and for the 6 doses package they range from around 68 to 82 $.  Frontline for cats can be purchased within the same price range (depending from the package size). When buying take into account shipping costs as well. Several online stores offer free shipping for all purchase and others depending from the amount of your purchase.  Of course, free shipping usually applies for the US while international orders are charged with shipping costs (that can amount to 30 $!).

5. What about the syringe? – Well, there are several vendors that offer the product in a single vial with a syringe included (and instructions about the dosages). This is a product intended for a larger dog and can be divided into smaller doses with the syringe. Avoid doing this because you can overdose your dog (especially the small ones). So, buy Frontline Plus that comes with the individual application packages (3, 6 or 12). Each individual applicator has a label that includes the registrant's name ('Merial'), the product name, the EPA registration number, the ingredients, etc.

6. Is Frontline safe?: Yes, Frontline plus is safe to use. Since Frontline plus is a topical treatment some pets may experience temporary irritations. Furthermore, always weight your dog before choosing the right Frontline plus to avoid over dosage. Frontline plus can be used on cats that are 8 weeks and older.

Frontline Plus Best Price 6 Things You Need to Know When Buying It on Line

Sad as it may seem to the Feline Image Association of America (yes, I made that up...) cats and fleas have been seen together! How can cats get the advantage? Flea control for cats may be the answer! So why, when it comes to flea control products for cats, does it seem like our furry felines always get the short end of the stick?

Even though cats seem to groom themselves religiously, they still get fleas on their adventures through the out of doors. They need a flea control product that is safe for their sensitive skin, and also safe in light of their grooming behaviors. That's where many people succeed with a quality, veterinarian-approved flea control product such as Frontline for cats, Advantage flea control for cats, or another flea killer designed for cats' sensitive skin.

Which product is best? It's hard to say.

For example, both Frontline and Advantage for cats stop the biting of fleas in 3-5 minutes (by paralyzing them) and kill 98-100% of adult fleas within 12-24 hours. These products are stored in the cats' skin and continuously reapply themselves onto the cat's hair, staying effective for a month. The continuous monthly application of a product like Frontline Plus for cats, or Advantage flea drops will help break the flea life cycle, as eventually no adults will be left to reproduce.

However, by the time you spot fleas, it's likely that the adults have already had the opportunity to lay eggs, which drop off your cat and into your carpet or yard. These can stay viable for up to two years before they hatch, so it's important to keep up your flea control program with regular vacuuming to get fleas out of the carpet, and regular use of either Advantage flea control for cats or Frontline flea control products. Otherwise, even if they don't pick up any new fleas from going outside, they can be re-infected by flea eggs already hiding in your house.

Both Frontline for cats and Advantage flea products are meant to be applied as a few liquid drops behind the back of the head and then they spread throughout the cat's body. They will need to be reapplied every month, though. And, Frontline for cats and Advantage flea killer are both chemical pesticides, so it's very important to read the instructions and follow them to the letter. Also, the first time you use the products, be on the lookout for side effects.

If you do notice side effects from your flea control product, I would suggest switching brands.

Fortunately for us, Frontline for cats, and Advantage flea control for cats, both have DIFFERENT active ingredients, so if your cat has sensitivities to one (or your fleas have immunities!) you can switch to the other and see if it is more effective for you.

Advantage Flea Control for Cats and Frontline Pet Meds Both Work Which Is Right for You

Are you looking to buy Frontline plus to get rid of those obnoxious fleas and ticks that are crawling on your cat? Are you looking for the best deals on line, but you're confused and lost in all the info and prices that various sites have to offer? I know how looking for the best deals on line can be quite time consuming. So, I did a little research and here is the info where to get this product cheap.

Click Cheap Frontline for cats to buy this efficient flea repellent!

You certainly already know that Frontline plus is the most popular flea and tick repellent for cats and dogs. The reason for that is that Frontline is highly effective and it helps you get rid of fleas in 24 hours.

What are the downsides to Frontline? Well, mostly the high price. If you, for example, decide to purchase the 6 dose package (enough for the period of 6 months) you will pay approximately around 70-80 $. If you decide to buy the single monthly doses at your vets it will cost you even more.

There are several store that sell Frontline plus for cats on line like, Petco.com, The DogSupply.com, DigItPet.com, 1800PetMed.com, EntirelyPets.com, VetAmerica.com, Amazon.com. I did my research on line and found that the prices range from 60 $ to 80 $ for a 6 doses pack (shipping cost included).

When deciding where to buy decide to buy from a trusted on line seller, because there are a lot of obscure on line stores that sell expired or counterfeited products.

Frontline plus is easy to use (you need literally a couple of minutes to apply it) and the effects are going to last for a whole month.

How does Frontline Plus work? It disrupts the nervous system of the flea, so the fleas are hyper stimulated which eventually kills them. So, when you apply Frontline plus you will notice that fleas become very active, which is a clear indicator that the product is working!

Another thing to take into account is the time of the year when you're buying. I noticed that the prices tend to rise as we approach the warmer season (which is understandable because fleas enjoy the warm weather). A proof for that is that prices have gone up some 6 $ from the last few days! So I guess the prices will continue to go up as the demand rises. The sooner you'll get it the better price you'll get.

Where to Look Online for Cheap Frontline for Cats

If your cat is infested with fleas then you're certainly considering some sort of repellent. Frontline Plus by Merial is one of the most popular products on the market. Furthermore the product is recommended by veterinarians as an effective solution for fleas.

Now, let me tell you about my own experience with Frontline. I used Frontline four months ago on my cat Belinda (a beautiful tabby). A friend of mine found her wondering in the street so I took her in. The poor thing was in a miserable state; with hundreds of fleas crawling on her (she had worms too). So I took her to my vet who decided to apply Frontline plus on her. The application process was really quick and simple and as soon as the vet applied the product the fleas literally went wild. They were jumping, falling all over the table, and the vet told me that it's was a clear sign that the product was doing the job!

Click Frontline for cats if you want to buy it at discounted prices!

The next day my cat was 'flea free'! I have to say I was relieved because I find them extremely repulsive (especially when I start to think how fast they multiply and lay eggs!). I forgot to say that Frontline killed all the ticks on my cat as well.

I was really satisfied with the whole operation and how efficient Frontline was, and its effects lasted for the whole month. The next time I need to apply Frontline I got it on line from a specialized pet store (through Amazon.com). Again, I was really content with its efficiency and with the price that was notably lower from the vet's price. I bought a 6 month supply (the 6 doses package) so now I'm set for a while. My cat didn't experience any allergic reaction to the product, so I must say that I find the right solution both for me and my Belinda.

I tried the Frontline spray too, on my carpet (it was infested with fleas too), and it solved the problem very quickly! Before doing my on line purchase I did an extremely thorough and wide research in order to find the best prices. You can really save a lot of money.
